We're updating help docs to reflect our new product naming. Gladly Sidekick (AI) is now called just Gladly, and Gladly Hero (the Platform) is now Gladly Team. Some articles may display outdated names while we update everything. Thank you for your patience! Learn more

Authentication

Prev Next

Basic Authentication

Perhaps the most familiar authentication option, basic auth (as it is often called) requires an Agent to provide a username and password for a request. This is most common with custom integrations.

Custom Headers

This form of authentication provides an option for additional information. For example, this can be set up to use when specific information is needed in addition to defaults, particularly with troubleshooting.

Request Signing

This process can be more complex, so we have dedicated an in-depth section to it here.
