Before you start
Review the following information before you connect Recharge to Gladly.
Make sure you have proper access to get your Recharge API key as this is required during the setup process.
Get the Recharge private token
See Recharge API Key for information on how to generate the Recharge token.
Make sure your token has the following permissions:
Customers – Read Access
Subscriptions – Read Access
Products – Read Access
Once you have the token, connect Recharge in Gladly.
Connect Recharge to Gladly
From the Apps page, click Add App > Recharge.
From the Add New Recharge App page, enter the following information:
Name – Enter a name that will help you identify the Recharge app.
Recharge Private Token – Enter the Recharge Access Token.
Search Query Attributes – There are two columns (Attribute, Label) required for Search Query Attributes. You can only use email/Email attribute.
Don't change the Attribute column.
Search Results Attributes – There are two columns (Attribute, Label) required for Search Results Attributes. The name/Name and email/Emailattributes are the default attributes.
Delete the Name search attribute if you feel it’s not necessary for finding Customers
Auto-Linking Fields – If a Customer Profile is not currently linked to a Recharge instance, and Recharge responds with a unique profile with at least one auto-linking field match and no conflicts, Gladly will automatically link the profiles without any user intervention and populate the pulled information in the Customer Profile.
Customer Email is currently the only option available that can be used to match a Customer Profile to Recharge. Check this box to enable auto-linking by email address.
Overwrite Existing Values – If activated and a Customer Profile is linked to a profile in Recharge, Gladly will overwrite the existing name in the Customer Profile with data from Recharge.
Click Save App.
Contact Gladly Support with a P4 designation to configure Recharge to display on the Customer Profile layout in Gladly.
