How do I change the name of an IVR?

Generally speaking, you should use a name that allows you to identify what and how a particular IVR is being used. This will make it easier to configure related settings like the queue IVR. It will also make it easier to use the IVR search feature.

  1. Click on the top left corner of the screen.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. Under the Channels category, click IVR. The IVR Configuration page under the Active tab will show you IVR(s) that are configured and active.

  4. Hover over the name of IVR you want to rename until the editor box appears. Enter the updated IVR name.

    • Press the Esc key to cancel and not save the name you typed.

    • The name must be unique. An error will appear if the name already exists.

    • The name field cannot be blank.  

  5. Click outside of the editor or press Enter to save the name.

    • Tip – If the IVR name is long, hover over the name to see the full name.
