Hardware Requirements

For Gladly to perform at its best, it's essential that you meet the minimum hardware specifications listed below. Ensuring these requirements are met will enhance your Gladly experience.

Computer Memory and Processor

  • Processor – Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-4130 CPU @ 3.40GHz, 3400 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)

  • Installed Physical Memory (RAM) – 4.00 GB

  • System Type – 64-bit

  • Free Memory – 500 MB

Headset

If you are on Gladly Voice, we recommend hands-free headphones (with a microphone) for an optimal Agent experience.

The headset models below are Gladly tested and recommended for maximum compatibility, audio performance, microphone quality, noise suppression, comfort, and range (wireless models).

  • Jabra Engage 75 Series

  • Poly Savi 8220 UC

  • Jabra Evolve2 65

  • Yealink WH62

    Wireless headset setup

    • If possible, it’s recommended using wired headsets as they are less susceptible to interference.

    • Deactivate any kind of audio enhancement apps (third party or bundled with the headset) as they interfere with audio processing by creating unnecessary digital signal processing and may cause undesired audio behaviors.

Monitor

Gladly operates in screen resolutions of 1280px or wider. Smaller resolutions will work, but they may impact Agent productivity.

We suggest screens 1366x768 – 13.3-inch or larger for the best Gladly UI experience.

See the table below to get a sense of screen size/resolutions in the market. Generally speaking, the quality/sharpness of screens with the same resolution (e.g., 15.6-, 14-, 13.3-, and 11.6-inch with a resolution of 1366X768) but in different sizes will vary. Smaller screens with the same resolution as the larger screens could have a "better" image quality since pixels are packed denser than larger screens.
