What does ‘Conversation was closed automatically’ in the Conversation Timeline mean?

Conversations related to abandoned calls are automatically closed. When this happens, the Conversation Timeline is updated to reflect this activity.

A call from +1 (617) 792-7075 marked as abandoned, conversation closed automatically.

If there is an existing open Contact (e.g., an open SMS contact), then the Conversation will remain open.

As for a Chat Conversation, it will automatically close if the Customer abandons the chat before being routed to an Agent.
