Rules can be created and/or edited in the Thread Builder in order to align Thread behavior with updated processes or events. Use available Memories to configure conditions in new Rules, or adjust conditions within existing Rules as needed. Once conditions are created, you can choose to complete the Rule with an Anonymous Action or a Pivot to a separate Thread.
Create a Rule
Click + where you would like to add a Rule Action.
Select or search Add Rules from the drop-down menu.
In the Action side panel, click Add Sub-Action. Select Rule.
Name the Rule.
Configure conditions within the If section by selecting the necessary Memories.
Select either Action or Pivot within the Then section and configure accordingly.
Click Save.
Name your revision to the Thread. Click Save.
Multiple Rule Sub-Actions can be added within a single Rule Action
Rules will always evaluate in the order in which they are added. Rule Sub-Actions may be rearranged within the Rule block once added.
Edit a Rule
Click on the Add Rules Action that you would like to edit.
Expand the Action so that all Sub-Actions are visible.
Click on the Add Rule Sub-Action you would like to edit.
Update the conditions as needed.
Click Save.
Name your revision to the Thread. Click Save.
