Remailer allows multiple email addresses to appear as coming from the same address. For example, with remailer, inbound emails from status@retale.com, shipping@retale.com, and returns@retale.com show as coming from customerservice@retale.com. With remailer configured, a single email can be 'scattered' across multiple Customer Profiles without causing information to be lost.
