Use the Compliance Event Log to track compliance events, setting changes, or Customer data deletions.

  1. Click on the top left corner of the screen.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. Under the Security and Compliance category, click Compliance Event Log.

Compliance Event Log overview

The log displays the following information for each compliance event.

  • Event Type – The type of event that occurred (e.g., deletion).

  • Description – Describes the activity or action taken with the event.

  • Customer ID – The unique ID of the Customer affected by the event.

  • Date – The date and time the event occurred.

  • Performed By – The Compliance Administrator who triggered the event. Events completed by the Gladly system will show "System."

Deleted an attachment from a Customer Profile.

CONVERSATION_DELETED

Conversation with all Conversation items inside is deleted. Appears when a Customer Profile with Conversations is also deleted.

Deleted a Conversation and all items contained in a Conversation.

CUSTOMER_PROFILE_EXPORTED

Delete a Conversation item

Downloaded a JSON file.

CONVERSATION_ITEM_REDACTED

Customer Data Retention settings updated

Deleted a Conversation item.

DATA_RETENTION_CONFIG_UPDATED

Deleted Customer Profile

Updated Customer Data Retention settings.

PROFILE_DELETED

Deleted call recording

Deleted a Customer Profile.

RECORDING_REDACTED

Deleted call recording

Deleted a call recording.

Deleted Conversations performed by 'System'

If you see CONVERSATION_DELETED events performed by "System," these are typically caused by Customer Merges when two open Conversations are merged, and one of the Conversation threads is deleted once merged. Use the Conversation Timestamps report if you'd like to see recent merge events.
