We're updating help docs to reflect our new product naming. Gladly Sidekick (AI) is now called just Gladly, and Gladly Hero (the Platform) is now Gladly Team. Some articles may display outdated names while we update everything. Thank you for your patience! Learn more

Skio App Platform Installation

Prev Next

The Skio app is set up entirely from Gladly’s Settings, no command-line tools are required. Connecting your Skio account with an API token is the only required step; the app has no other configuration.

Step 1: Generate a Skio API token

In the Skio dashboard, create an API token for Gladly under API & Integrations > API Keys, and copy it. Skio shows the token when it is created, so copy it before closing the page.

Step 2: Open the Apps settings

In Gladly, go to Settings > Apps. This is where you manage your App Platform integrations.

Step 3: Create a configuration

Click the Create Configuration button. Give the configuration a recognizable name – you will see this name across Gladly – and when prompted for the External App, choose the Skio app (gladly.com/SKIO/v4.2.0).

Step 4: Enter your Skio API token

Paste the token into API Token. It is the only credential the app needs; there is nothing else to configure.

Step 5: Activate and save

Switch the configuration from inactive to active and save it, then add the Skio Subscriptions card to the Customer Profile layout.
