The HubSpot app is set up entirely from Gladly’s Settings, no command-line tools are required. Connecting your HubSpot account is the only required step; the app works without changing anything else.
Step 1: Open the Apps settings
In Gladly, go to Settings > Apps. This is where you manage your App Platform integrations.
Step 2: Create a configuration
Click the Create Configuration button. When prompted for the External App, choose the HubSpot app (gladly.com/hubspot/v1.0.2).
Step 3: Connect your HubSpot account
Follow the OAuth Authorization prompt to sign in to HubSpot and approve the requested permissions: read access to contacts, read access to tickets, and account details. Gladly reads your HubSpot data and never writes to it. Nothing is copied or pasted by hand, and Gladly refreshes the connection automatically from then on.
Step 4: Optionally tune the cards
Two optional settings control what the cards show:
Maximum tickets – how many recent tickets appear on the Tickets card. Defaults to 25 when blank, and values above 200 are reduced to 200, which is HubSpot’s per-request maximum. A non-numeric, zero, or negative value also falls back to 25.
Additional contact properties – extra HubSpot contact properties to show on the card, beyond the standard ones. Separate entries with commas. Use the property’s internal name, optionally followed by a colon and the label you want agents to see — for example
industry:Industry. Without a label the internal name is used. Properties already shown elsewhere on the card (lead status, lifecycle stage, owner) are not repeated even if listed here.

Save the configuration, then contact the Gladly Support team to add the HubSpot Contact and HubSpot Tickets cards to the Customer Profile layout.
