Corso on App Platform Installation

Prev Next

The Corso app is set up from Gladly’s Settings, and no command-line tools are required. You will need a client ID and client secret from a Corso Commerce API token.

Step 1: Create a Corso Commerce API token

In Corso, go to Settings > Developer. Under Commerce API, click + to create an API token, or open an existing Commerce API token, and copy its client ID and client secret. Webhook Configurations on the same page are not needed. These are production credentials; if you need staging credentials, they come from your Corso account manager or priority@corso.com.

Step 2: Open the Apps settings

In Gladly, go to Settings > Apps. This is where you manage your App Platform integrations.

Step 3: Create a configuration

Click the Create Configuration button. When prompted for the External App, choose the Corso app (gladly.com/corso), picking the latest version available.

Step 4: Enter your Corso details

Enter the Client ID and Client secret from Step 1. Leave Environment on Production unless Corso gave you staging credentials.

Step 5: Choose your claim settings

  • Claim limit (order total): leave it blank to allow claims on any protected order. Enter an amount, such as 250, to refuse claims from Gladly on orders above that total; those are filed in Corso instead.

  • Hide orders Corso is not involved in: leave it off to show every recent order with its protection status, so team members can see when a shipping claim is not possible. Turn it on to show only orders that are protected or have a claim or registration.

Step 6: Add the Corso card to the Customer Profile

Save the configuration, then add the card in Settings > Agent Experience > Customer Profile: hover between two existing cards until the green + appears, select it, choose App Platform Card, then pick your Corso configuration and the Corso card. Full directions: Organize the Customer Profile.

Step 7: Add the claim form

Installing the app does not put the File a shipping protection claim form in the compose menu. Add it in Settings > Agent Experience > Agent Actions: give it a Label, choose your Corso configuration under App / Configuration, choose the Action, select Add, then Save the page. The Corso configuration must be saved and active first, since an Agent Action can only reference an active App Configuration. Full directions: Set up Agent Actions.
