Connect or Disconnect Gladly Agents from an Entry Point

Use the Entry Points page to control which Channels (e.g., Chat, Email, SMS) and Entry Points Gladly AI is available in. For each entry point, you can assign a Gladly Agent, choose which version of that agent to use, and add A/B tests to split traffic between configurations.

Connect a Gladly Agent to a Channel Entry Point

  1. Click on the top left corner of the screen.

  2. Click Guides.

  3. Click the list of Gladly Agents, then select Connect Entry Points.

  4. Locate the entry point row you want to connect. Entry points are grouped by Channel (Chat, Email, SMS, etc.).

  5. In the Agent column, click the dropdown and select a Gladly Agent.

  6. In the Version column, click the dropdown and select a version:

    1. Always latest: the entry point automatically uses the most recently saved version of the agent.

    2. [Date/time]: pins the entry point to a specific saved version. A [X] behind badge appears if the pinned version is no longer the latest.

  7. Click Save.

The entry point now routes incoming conversations through the selected Gladly Agent and version. If an entry point is not yet listed, click Add entry points at the top right to add it.

Disconnect a Gladly Agent from an Entry Point

  1. From the Guides page, click the list of Gladly Agents, then select Connect Entry Points.

  2. Locate the entry point row you want to disconnect.

  3. Click the delete icon on that row.

  4. Click Save.

The entry point is removed and will no longer route conversations through Gladly.
