The Chargebee app is set up from Gladly’s Settings, no command-line tools are required. You will need your Chargebee site name and an API key, both found in your Chargebee dashboard.
Step 1: Open the Apps settings
In Gladly, go to Settings > Apps. This is where you manage your App Platform integrations.
Step 2: Create a configuration
Click the Create Configuration button. When prompted for the External App, choose the Chargebee app (gladly.com/chargebee/v1.0.0).
Step 3: Enter your Chargebee credentials
Enter your Chargebee site, the subdomain of your Chargebee URL, for example acme-test for acme-test.chargebee.com – and your API key, found under Settings > Configure Chargebee > API Keys. The key is sent as HTTP Basic authentication.
Step 4: Choose which plans agents may offer as upgrades
Optional. Leave Upgrade target plans blank and the upgrade forms offer every plan in your Chargebee catalog. To narrow the list, enter a comma-separated set of Chargebee item price IDs – for example premium-plan-USD-monthly, premium-plan-USD-yearly – and team members can only offer those.
Each item price is one currency and billing-period variant of a plan, so list the exact variants you want offered.
Step 5: Decide on agent-initiated cancellation
Leave Allow agent-initiated cancellation off unless your team should be able to cancel subscriptions directly. When off, the Cancel subscription action is blocked with a message explaining the setting, and team members can still send the retention-offer link. When on, cancelling additionally requires the team member to type a confirmation.

Step 6: Save and add the card
Save the configuration, then add the Chargebee card to the Customer Profile layout. Contact the Gladly Support team if you want help adding the card or actions to the Customer Profile layout.
