Gladly automatically creates Customer Profiles for new Customers. However, Agents still need to fill in the remaining details, such as the Customer's name, to complete the Profile. This process can be automated using the Create Customer API. With this API, developers can create Customer Profiles programmatically and look up Customer details from an external system of records.
To ensure that Gladly can match Customer details and records in external databases, it's recommended to build a Lookup Adaptor. This will ensure that Gladly has the most up-to-date information about Customers.
