This helps you ensure easier compliance and access in the long term. If SSO is turned on, all Agents must access Gladly via the same SSO provider. Gladly supports SAML 2.0-based SSO. Setting up SSO is optional but highly recommended, as it provides an extra layer of user account security and ease of management! ## Goals Set up SSO ## Estimated Effort 1 hour ## Step-by-Step Tutorial & Best Practices 1. See [Single Sign-On Setup](https://help.gladly.com/docs/single-sign-on-setup) to learn how to set up SSO. 2. Give Agents access to SSO via your application AND give them the appropriate Gladly permissions in the Agents UI. Note that you will always need to activate in BOTH places for their account to work. 3. You should conduct access testing using an admin account (e.g., your project stakeholder) to ensure your configuration works. Single Sign-On (SSO) allows users to access multiple applications and websites with one set of credentials. SSO uses a trust relationship between the IdP (Identity Provider and the SP (Service Provider). The IdP passes an assertion to the SP to authenticate the user, often using an identity standard like Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) or OpenID Connect (OIDC).
