# Will Chat slow down our website?

Your website will load just as fast as it does today with the Chat installed. Because Chat is loaded asynchronously, it won’t slow down your page or prevent Customers from interacting with your website. Gladly also uses a Content Delivery Network (CDN) to ensure that the Chat loads as efficiently as possible.
