# Why is the ‘Publish’ option grayed out?

The **Publish** option may not be clickable or is grayed out because:

- There are no new changes detected in the IVR.
- There is an error detected in the IVR. Look out for the error message in red. Once the error is fixed, the Publish option will be clickable.

To check for other nodes with errors, click the node list filter and click **Errors**. This will filter all nodes with errors.
