# Install Shopify in UAT or Sandbox Environment

Install Shopify in a UAT/Sandbox environment for testing purposes.

## Before you start

This is a two-part process for setting up Shopify for testing in UAT/Sandbox.

1. Contact Gladly Support to set up the app.
2. Set up Shopify in Gladly UAT or Sandbox.

## Contact Gladly Support

To begin the setup process, contact [Gladly Support](https://help.gladly.com/product-docs/pages/en/contact-gladly-support-team) and request the team activate Shopify in UAT. Once confirmed, proceed to set up Shopify in your Gladly UAT/Sandbox environment.

## Set up Shopify in Gladly UAT or Sandbox

1. Add a new app to your Shopify instance by navigating to *https://<store>.myshopify.com/admin/settings/apps/development*.
2. Activate the following access scopes on your new app as shown below.
  - read_orders
  - read_all_orders
  - write_orders
  - read_products
  - read_customers,
  - ead_price_rules
  - write_price_rules
  - read_locations
3. Next, you'll need an Admin access token. Please note that you can only do this once per app! Navigate to the API Credentials section of your App. The link looks something like *https://.myshopify.com/admin/apps/development//api_credentials*.
4. Go to the Admin API access token section and click **Reveal** token once.
5. After revealing the full access token the first time this page is accessed, this page displays only the last four digits of the access token for reference on subsequent visits.
6. Proceed to log into your Gladly UAT/Sandbox and [add Shopify](https://help.gladly.com/docs/set-up-shopify-integration/) as an app.
  - **Note –** Enter the Admin access token you generated in the step above in the **Shopify Access Token** field. Then, enter the Shopify URL in the Shopify URL field (e.g., https://<store>.myshopify.com) in the **Shopify Base URL**field.
7. Click **Save**.
