# Activate Dark Mode

Dark Mode gives the Agent Desktop a low-light appearance, which can help reduce eye strain during long or late shifts.

Each user controls their own Dark Mode setting. Your choice only affects your view.

1. In the Agent Desktop, click your **Profile/Avatar** in the top right corner.
2. In the menu that appears, select **Dark Mode**.

Your view will update right away. To switch back to the default (light) view, return to the same menu and select **Light Mode**.
