# I tried to reset my password but i’m not receiving the reset email

If you tried to [reset](https://help.gladly.com/docs/how-do-i-reset-my-password) your password, but you are not receiving the password reset email, please do the following:

- Check your spam folder. If the password reset email is there, make sure to mark Gladly as a trusted contact.
- Make sure you are using the correct email address. Commonly, an enrolled email account in Gladly may not match what is being used to reset the password. Check with a manager to confirm your email address in Gladly.
- Make sure your account is active. You will not be able to reset your password if it is not active. A manager can also confirm this for you.
