# Does activating PCI Pal change the experience for callers who don't make a payment?

No. Calls flow through PCI Pal's audio path, but the Customer experience is unchanged unless an Agent initiates a secure payment request. There is no extra menu, prompt, or routing step from the caller's perspective.
