A privacy policy is a statement that describes how a company collects, uses, stores, shares, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with its website or service. When customers communicate with your company, such as through a chat using Chat, it is important to inform them that by starting a chat session, they are accepting your company's privacy policy.

The Privacy Policy setting in Chat is deactivated by default. If activated, the privacy policy statement will be displayed above the Chat button before a session begins and remain visible during an active chat session. This ensures that Customers know and understand your company's privacy practices before sharing personal information through the Chat feature.
