## Deleted Conversations performed by 'System'

If you see CONVERSATION_DELETED events performed by "System," these are typically caused by [Customer Merges](/docs/merge-customer-profiles) when two open Conversations are merged, and one of the Conversation threads is deleted once merged. Use the [Conversation Timestamps](https://help.gladly.com/docs/merge-profiles#merge-events-in-the-conversation-timeline) report if you'd like to see recent merge events.
