# Chat Overview

Gladly offers the chat functionality through [Chat](https://help.gladly.com/docs/what-is-sidekick). Once you [set up and configure Chat](/docs/create-and-configure-glad-app), the name you gave Chat appears on the [Entry Points](https://help.gladly.com/docs/add-and-configure-chat-entry-points) page, so you point incoming chat requests to a specific Inbox.
