# Change Default ‘Active’ Status

To change the [default](https://help.gladly.com/docs/what-are-Away-and-active-agent-status#default-active-status) Active status, click![](https://cdn.us.document360.io/7047b671-c4f2-4df0-bb0a-b9b511fd2452/Images/Documentation/kebab-icon-vertical.svg)to the right of the Active status you want to make as the new default, then select **Set as default**. The purple default tag will move next to the new default Active status. When Agents log in for the day, they'll start with this pre-selected Active status.
