# Activate Dark Mode (Beta)

Dark Mode gives the Agent Desktop a low-light appearance, which can help reduce eye strain during long or late shifts.

## Before you start

- Because it's in beta, Gladly is actively collecting feedback and incremental enhancements are applied.

## Activate Dark Mode

Each user controls their own Dark Mode setting. Your choice only affects your view.

1. In the Agent Desktop, click your **Profile/Avatar** in the top right corner.
2. In the menu that appears, select the option to switch to **Dark Mode**.

Your view will update right away. To switch back to the default (light) view, return to the same menu and select **Light View**.
